May 17 – June 15, 2024: “Ley Killeya: Solitary Women”, An Exhibit by Featured Artist Ley Killeya
5 Points Gallery was excited to present Chapel Hill artist Ley Killeya’s engaging exhibition featuring vibrant and thought-provoking paintings, exploring themes of identity, belonging, vulnerability, and acceptance, particularly for people from marginalized communities. Ley’s new collection, Solitary Women, is composed of numerous abstract figurative paintings, each titled with a line from a poem or song lyric, adding deeper narrative meaning. This exhibition was on display in our downtown Durham gallery from May 17 through June 15, 2024.
