January 5 – February 10, 2024: Introducing Ley Killeya
5 Points Gallery is honored to welcome Ley Killeya as our newest artist member. Ley is an English painter and printmaker who moved to the Triangle area from New Jersey in 2002. Taking influences from artists including Matisse, Hyangmok Baik, Egon Schiele and NC artist Reneesha Mccoy, she is interested in exploring how our bodies, and the ways others read them, are used to confer power, limit rights, exercise control, and interrogate identity. This exhibit was on display in our downtown Durham gallery from January 5 – February 10, 2024.
